We’re still waiting on the Chrome Web Store review. Until then it goes like this — set it up once, forget it forever.
Click “Download extension” above. You’ll find blackline-extension.zip in your Downloads folder.
Double-click the ZIP. You’ll get a folder called blackline-extension. Keep it somewhere permanent (e.g. Documents) — if you delete it, the extension stops working.
Copy this address, paste it into your browser’s address bar and press Enter:

Top-right on that page you’ll see a “Developer mode” switch. Turn it on — a new button row appears.
Click the new button top-left and select the blackline-extension folder (NOT the ZIP — the unzipped folder).
Blackline now shows in the list. Click the puzzle icon top-right in the browser and pin Blackline so it’s always visible.
…you see the black Blackline icon top-right and right-clicking any PDF link shows “Redact with Blackline”.
Yes. “Developer mode” just means it’s not running via the Store yet — not that anything risky is going on.
